Joe's fiction and poetry is forthcoming in THE MAINE REVIEW and PONDER REVIEW. He has been published by PIF MAGAZINE and THE AVANT. Joe blogs about books and movies (Quirk Books and Jersey Ghouls), and he writes 'Daddy Film School,' on JoeCostal.com in which he subjects his small children to old films and records the ensuing hilarity or abject confusion. His writing has won distinction from Wesleyan University and Black Heart Magazine. Joe teaches writing at Stockton University and volunteers with Murphy Writing Seminars.
